One day at a time

I tried to lose weight in 2007 and failed, so why not give it another go?

My attitude this year has to be, "One day at a time." I don't see how else it's going to work for me. I'm overwhelmed with loads of changes I'd love to make, but I know that I'm not going to be able to do everything. I just need to take it slow and not give up.

I can tell you having checking my blood sugar constantly from never checking it at all, quitting smoking after 15 years, and losing 36 lbs, that making changes must be done slowly and one step at a time. I started 2 years ago and began in january checking my BG 6-10 times a day and then quit smoking in August of 2006. this last September I joined Weight Watchers and am still doing that.

It was the first time I have been able to stick with each of those things and it is because I am doing one at a time.

Just my thoughts and I hope they help!

Believe me, i never thought I would be smoke free, that was the most difficult but if i can do it, I know you can make changes too!

good luck!

I think one day at a time is a very smart way to approach it.

And if our resident ninja G-Money says you can do it, there's no stopping you!
